Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 11, 2026
This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies (e.g. your browser's localStorage and sessionStorage) are used on the Prozly website (prozly.ai) and in the Prozly application. Short version: the website loads Google Analytics only if you agree in the cookie banner. The application uses strictly necessary cookies for sign-in and an error diagnostics tool that makes a masked recording of the interaction in a small share of sessions (Section 2).
1. Marketing website (prozly.ai)
We do not set advertising cookies. Google Analytics is loaded only after you agree in the cookie banner (see below); without your consent, no analytics cookies are set. We also use:
- Theme preference: we store your light/dark mode choice in your browser's localStorage. This is not a cookie, never leaves your device, and contains no personal data.
- Cookieless audience measurement: we use privacy-friendly, aggregated analytics (Vercel Analytics) that work without cookies and without cross-site tracking profiles. No personal profiles are created.
- Your cookie choice: whether you accepted or declined Google Analytics is stored in your browser's localStorage so the banner does not reappear on every visit. This storage is necessary to manage your consent (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG).
Google Analytics (only with your consent)
If you agree in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) with IP truncation to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics sets cookies for this (e.g. "_ga", stored for up to 2 years); advertising features are disabled. The legal basis is your consent (§ 25 (1) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Data may be transferred to the USA; Google is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Nothing loads before you agree, and you can withdraw your consent at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer.
2. Prozly application
The Prozly application uses no analytics or advertising cookies. It uses:
- Authentication session cookies (set by Supabase) keep you securely signed in, expire or refresh automatically, and are deleted when you sign out. They are strictly necessary for the service to function and therefore exempt from consent under Art. 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive / § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG.
- Error diagnostics (Sentry): when an error occurs, Sentry sends us an error report with technical details. In addition, Sentry records the course of interaction only in sessions in which an error occurs, so we can reproduce errors. All text and input is masked and all images and media are blocked; content cannot be read in the recording. For this, Sentry stores a session identifier in your browser's sessionStorage, which is deleted when you close the tab. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a stable and secure service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); you can object at any time (privacy@prozly.ai).
3. Third-party cookies
We do not embed third-party advertising, social widgets, or tracking pixels on our website. When you pay for a plan, the checkout runs on Stripe's infrastructure and Stripe may set cookies necessary for fraud prevention and payment processing. See Stripe's own cookie policy for details.
4. Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies at any time via your browser settings. You can withdraw your consent to Google Analytics at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer. Note that blocking the application's authentication cookies will prevent you from signing in.
5. Questions
